“The Life that you are living now is a dream of a millions”:

365 days of a year we work for and think about ourselves. In our busy day-to-day life, we forget there are little hearts, those of many unprivileged children, in many parts of our country who have dreams- to study, learn new skills and live a happy life. But either they don't have money or they don't know the way to fulfill their dreams.

Who paid your school fees? Your parents or guardian, right? Now think who will pay the school fees for children who are parentless or raised by a single parent?

Ritesh will be dedicate 4 days to cycle from Delhi to Jaipur and then back to Delhi with a mission to contribute Rs one lakh/ ₹(1,00,000) through crowd funding in collaboration with Bhumi NGO www.bhumi.ngo through letzchange.org.

If you want to help these little hearts in fulfilling their dreams and want to support Ritesh in his journey feel free to donate/contribute whatever amount you can.

During this program Ritesh will also visit a few underdeveloped villages of Rajasthan where he will enlighten the local people about the importance of education and sports and also motivate youngsters to join Indian Armed Forces.

ABOUT OUR SUPERHERO:

Ritesh is a fitness freak based in Bangalore, Works for Pontoon Solutions and he is a strong believer of the fact "Giving is important as taking". He has always taken one step forward to help the society and the people in need. He will be cycling from Delhi to Jaipur and back to Delhi where he will cover 600+ KMs in four days with a motto to contribute 1 lakh for the education of unprivileged children.

In the past, many times Ritesh has come out of the box and helped the society. In 2015, he saved the life of a kid in Allahabad with the help of UP police. In 2016, Ritesh ran approx. 80 km and travelled to the underdeveloped villages of Uttar Pradesh and motivated kids to be a part of sports and Indian Army. In 2018, Ritesh showed great courage and leadership while saving the life of a woman during a trek in the Himalayas.

History:

India is a country with more than one billion people, and just one-third of them can read. Rapidly growing size of population, shortages of teachers, books, and basic facilities, and insufficient public funds to cover education costs are some of the nation’s toughest challenges. This is where Children in India are facing the basic challenges. According to a study, more than 30% of educational funds are allocated towards higher education, leaving the primary education in India in sway.

India is fourth among the top 10 nations with the highest numbers of out-of children in primary level. Furthermore, the rate of school drop-outs amongst students is very high. One of the main reasons behind this is poverty. When earning a livelihood and taking care of the members of the family becomes a primary matter of concern in one’s life, education stands a little or, very often, no chance of pursuance. For the underprivileged people in India, education is perceived as a high-priced luxury, and this negative outlook continues with every new generation.

What denies equal opportunities of children are serious social issues that have arose out of caste, class and gender differences. The practice of child labor in India and resistance to sending children to school in several parts of the country remain as genuine concerns. If the current trend continues, millions of underprivileged children will probably never set foot in a classroom.

This may be small step for you to fulfill dreams of few unprivileged children but other side this can become life for few. Feel free to donate/contribute whatever you can.
