Help people affected by Cyclone Fani
SOS Alert! Cyclone Fani has hit Odisha early this morning. Fani is the most severe cyclone to hit the country since the year 1999. Moving at a roaring speed of around 200 km/h, Fani is expected to cause massive damage in the upcoming hours. A high alert has been declared in the state and government has evacuated over 12,00,000 people from over 15 districts.
The neighbouring states of Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu have also been put on high alert as a precautionary measure to dodge further damage. A lot of disaster relief agencies have sprung into action to arrest the havoc brought in by the natural disaster, and are doing their best to help the ones in need. While the government and non-government organizations work towards disaster mitigation, let us all try and do our bit towards the cause.
You can help by making a small monetary contribution to aid the ongoing relief and rescue work. All your donations shall be directed towards the Odisha's Chief Minister Relief Fund (https://cmrfodisha.gov.in/) or one of our trusted GiveAssured NGO partners working on ground in the disaster hit areas.
