You can select any project close to your home, a project working on your favorite cause, or any other project by clicking on Donate. You can complete your donation by following simple steps in less than a minute. If you are not logged in or registered with us then the portal will prompt a simple log in or registration process to make a successful donation.

GiveIndia presents a selection of ways for you to make a contribution. It could be a cause close to your heart, an NGO in your hometown, or an organization you have supported in the past. GiveIndia also empowers donors to campaign for the organisation(s) of their choice, enabling them to considerably amplify their supporter base.

Security is of utmost importance to GiveIndia and we have carefully selected our payment service providers to ensure that your donation payment details are handled securely. GiveIndia does not store any payment details from the donors or even require you to enter these details on our site.

The donations can be transferred to the correct project if the request for the change in project is made immediately after the donation. However, once the amount is transferred to the NGO, any change in the donation would not be made.

In case you seek refund for the incorrect donation, we would need permission from the NGO whose project you have accidentally donated to. Please get in touch with the NGO the donation has been made to and explain the situation. If they are happy for us to refund the donation, please ask them to drop us an email to let us know.

All donations made through GiveIndia are final. A refund is made only under extraordinary circumstances – such as fraudulent use of your credit or debit card – if proven. If such circumstances arise, please contact support@giveindia.org or +91-99710-61236

The donated amount for a particular month (e.g. say August) shall be transferred to the nonprofit partner's bank account by the 10 th of next month (e.g. by 10th of September). All the international donations will be transferred to FCRA linked bank account of the nonprofit partner by the 10th of next month (e.g. by 10th of September)

Yes, your donation must be a minimum of ₹ 50 to be processed through GiveIndia

Effective April 15th, 2019, GiveIndia has introduced a donation retention policy for its Fundraisers platform, under which every donation is subjected to a 7% donation retention that accounts for costs such as payment processing, and operation and administrative charges. GiveIndia is a not-for-profit entity that works solely towards assisting charities in raising funds online and expanding their supporter base.

Receipts for all donations will reach the donor within 60 days from the date of the transaction. You can also log in to your account to access your donation history.

Yes, we do provide you with an option to make your donations anonymously.

Per the Indian Income Tax Authority Rule, it is mandatory to enter PAN for donations above ₹ 5,000. Therefore, you need to enter your PAN for any donation that is more than ₹ 5,000. For any other queries, contact us at support@giveindia.org
