Background:

Suyam Charitable Trust has been engaged in COVID-19 relief work from 25th March 2020 the moment lock down was announced, with available Alumni volunteers and senior student volunteers from our Siragu school. The Siragu students who received education through the financial help of beneficiaries like you braved the Covid situation to implement many initiatives. See video which is shared.

Measures Planned to overcome COVID-19 Second Wave(not exhaustive)

1.Oxygen Concentrators.

We are working on bringing this facility to the needy homes.

We have ordered 5 oxygen concentrators . these are expected very soon and more will be arranged as funds are raised.

2.Oxygen Bank.

We are converting our old school bus into a make shift ' oxygen bank'.

3.Customer Care through Tele Counselling.

We have five lakhs of well-wishers and beneficiaries whom we can reach.

The needy people will call our customer care. We will understand what they need, take advice from our panel of doctors on best course of action and provide them the required service ourselves or guide them to the right organization who can provide them the required support.

4.Covid Care Centre at Pallavaram:

We are converting part of our vocational training centre at Pallavaram into a covid care centre with 15 beds.

5.Ayurveda Medicine to the needy homes:

We will provide Ayurvedic medicine to prevent Corona spreading in thickly populated area especially North Madras.

To build resistance to COVID-19 we would give ayurvedic supplements to the needy households.

6.Distribution of ayurvedic medicine to avoid post-covid complications

We will be providing suitable product(s) as the post covid complications are also of huge concern and need to be managed.

 We request your financial support to enable us to implement these initiatives. 

Relief Work Implemented I Phase of Covid:

·      Distribution of cooked food.

·      Distribution of Rice and Dhal (Lentils)

·      Distribution of Family Dry Ration Kit

·      Distribution of Preventive Herbal Supplements

·      Posting Awareness videos by Uma on Steam Inhalation,

  • Use of herbal medicines for prevention.
