With your generous support in April 2020, I had raised ₹1.4 Crore to provide cash support to 2800 daily wage earners through 19 NGOs at the onset of the pandemic, through my fundraiser on GiveIndia.

Now, with the rising number of coronavirus cases, our healthcare infrastructure is clearly being tested. WE ALL NEED TO HELP THOSE WHO ARE HELPING US IN MANAGING THIS CRISIS.

Maharashtra alone has been recording more than 50,000 new cases on a daily basis. And I have taken up a mission to support GiveIndia and its NGO partner Project Mumbai to help Mumbai and the state of Maharashtra with healthcare supplies.

Need on ground

Project Mumbai will be working with several public hospitals to provide them with life-saving healthcare equipment and supplies, to cope with the significant stress on the hospital system.

IT IS OUR TIME TO HELP THOSE IN NEED, DONATE NOW.

Give generously through our trusted nonprofit partners (who adhere to GiveIndia’s due-diligence framework) and ensure it reaches the beneficiaries.

About Project Mumbai

Project Mumbai is a not for profit engaged in qualitative change to people's lives. As a model of public-private people participation, they have been engaged in Healthcare, Environment, Education, Mental Health, Nutrition and Governance. However, during the pandemic (COVID 19), they channelised their energies to health and nutrition relief measures. The United Nations conferred Project Mumbai with the SDG Solidarity Action Award 2020 for their humanitarian work, in July 2020.
