We are in the midst of a global crisis, with almost 48% of the active cases in the world, coming from India today. It’s evident that the coronavirus does not discriminate when it comes to race, religion, gender, or social status. And neither should we.

Families in rural India are struggling with lack of access to safety measures, fear and misinformation about the pandemic and distress affecting their mental health.

For the last 2 years, we have been working with over 20,000 girl children in KGBV schools in rural Telangana on their social and emotional health.

One such district in Telangana is Siddipet - around 105 kms from Hyderabad, where the population is 86% rural, mostly involved in agriculture.

In the current crisis, the girl children and their families there have no means of health and safety essentials, or access to mental health support.

We are seeking your help to support at least 1500 girl children and their families in Siddipet district in Telangana through our ‘Kutumba Sankshemam' (Family protection) program that will provide a family of 4 with hygiene and safety materials, and mental health support for 2 months.
